Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026 · Blacktown Plumbing Experts
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website blacktownplumbingexperts.com.au (the "Site") and any services arranged through the Site, operated by Blacktown Plumbing Experts ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our Site, or by requesting a plumbing service through us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Us
Blacktown Plumbing Experts is a locally operated lead generation and plumbing referral service connecting homeowners, property managers, and businesses in Blacktown and Western Sydney with licensed, insured plumbing tradespeople.
All plumbing work is carried out by licensed plumbers holding a current NSW plumbing and draining licence issued by NSW Fair Trading. We do not personally carry out plumbing work — we connect you with the appropriate licensed tradesperson.
2. Use of This Website
By using this Site, you agree to:
- Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems
- Provide accurate and complete information when submitting contact or quote request forms
- Not reproduce, copy, or republish any content from this Site without our express written permission
3. Service Enquiries and Quotes
Quote Requests
Submitting a quote request form or calling us does not constitute a binding contract. A quote will be provided before any work commences. You are under no obligation to proceed with a service after receiving a quote.
Upfront Pricing
We provide upfront, fixed-price quotes before any work begins. The price quoted is the price charged — we will not add charges beyond the agreed scope without your prior written or verbal approval.
Service Availability
We aim to offer same-day service across Blacktown and Western Sydney, but availability is subject to demand. We do not guarantee same-day attendance in all circumstances.
4. Licensing and Compliance
All plumbing and gas fitting work arranged through our service is carried out by tradespeople holding current NSW licences as required under the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW) and associated regulations.
Gas fitting work is carried out only by licensed NSW gas fitters and is accompanied by a Certificate of Compliance as required by NSW Fair Trading.
You can verify any NSW plumber or gas fitter licence at NSW Fair Trading ↗.
5. Workmanship Guarantee
All labour performed through our service is covered by a workmanship guarantee. If a fault directly attributable to the work performed by our tradesperson arises within the guarantee period, we will return to rectify the issue at no additional charge.
The workmanship guarantee does not cover:
- Pre-existing faults or damage not related to the work performed
- Damage caused by misuse, modification, or third-party interference after the job is completed
- Normal wear and tear of parts, fixtures, or fittings
- Issues arising from work carried out by a different tradesperson after our service
Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are governed by the relevant manufacturer's terms and are separate from our workmanship guarantee.
6. On-Time Guarantee
Where we provide an estimated arrival window, we will notify you approximately 30 minutes before arrival. If our tradesperson fails to arrive within the agreed attendance window without prior notification, you may be entitled to a $50 reduction on the final invoice.
Note: The on-time guarantee does not apply in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather events, road closures, traffic incidents, or genuine emergencies that require reallocation of resources.
7. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or electronic payment methods as advised by the attending tradesperson.
For larger jobs, a deposit may be required prior to commencement. This will be confirmed at the time of quoting.
Overdue invoices may be subject to debt recovery proceedings and associated costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable legislation, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our Site or services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage
- Loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity
- Damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed at the time of service
- Any loss arising from your reliance on information on this Site that has since changed
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, warranty, or other right or remedy conferred by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services remedied if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
